In case you feel that making it through one day at a time is too hard, try and make it to just the next hour or next minute. Live your life fully till the next hour and be hopeful that the next day things will get better and the pain that life is causing us will stop. 

You are an extremely brave person

Another point to remember when life feels too painful is that you are an extremely brave person. It is not easy to deal with and survive the hardships, struggles, and pain that you have gone through without being this strong. You may feel weak at times, remind yourself then that a weak person would not have been able to go through so much as you have. 

It takes courage and strength to fight the battles of life. It takes a lot of mental strength to survive through life and hold on to it for as long as you have. Give yourself credit for surviving for so long and treat yourself at the end of the week for making it past one more week.

You can never be too much

When life feels too painful, remember that you are not too much and neither are your problems for yourself or others. We sometimes distance ourselves from our loved ones cause we think we are causing them pain or being a burden on them. But this is not true, you are not a burden on anyone. Go out and be with your friends and family members, they are there to support you and be by your side always. 

Your problems and struggles in life are also not too much for your loved ones to be a part of. Include them in your life and let them help you. If you feel they are too much for you to hanf=dle alone and that you are dying beneath their weight, ask for help. Ask someone to help you carry on and to lessen your burden.

Things do turn for the better

Do not give right now as things will turn for the better and the pain that you are feeling right now will ease its way out of your life. The suffering and the struggles that you are encountering right now are going to end and you will be able to live a life that is free from these struggles. 

You just need to hold on when life feels too painful and wait for that day which is just around the corner and realize that things are becoming better and that you no longer feel the pain you once did. Give yourself time to heal and for situations to change.

Experiencing and letting emotions out is a healthy way to cope with the emotions we experience. We should not feel ashamed or feel weak because we cry. It takes courage to accept how and when life feels too painful and to be able to express your feelings physically. 

Help is just around the corner

In times when life feels too painful, we feel all hope and help has abandoned us and left us to suffer alone. But it is not true, help is just around the corner, all we need to do is ask for it. There is no shame in asking for help when things get too painful. To avoid things getting worse we must ask for help immediately. 

We can seek help from our family members, friends, or loved ones. We can tell them and share with them our problems and difficulties. You are allowed to share your pain

Bottling up all the pain you experience is not a healthy coping mechanism and can cause you to feel worse. If you feel all your pain and suffering to yourself you will be overburdened by it and it might get too much for you to handle on your own. We are social beings here to help each other out in times of need and difficulties. We need to stop feeling like we need to keep it all in.

You should go and share what you are feeling with others and let them in. Let them be there for you and share your load. You are allowed and permitted to let your family members, friends, and loved ones inside your life and then let them decide how they can help. Remember when life feels too painful, we can share our pain with others and let them help us by picking up the load that was getting too much for us. There is no shame of weakness in asking for help. 

Your reason for pain is justified

Sometimes we feel like the pain we feel in life is just a manifestation of something that we are overthinking. We do not have as much pain as much as we are claiming to. But this is not true. The reason for you to experience this pain is completely justified and valid. You do not need to feel like you are overthinking it. No matter how small or big, if you are in pain because of it, you are in pain. 

Sometimes we might feel that our reasons for the pain are not justified because there are people out there with bigger problems than us. But that does not mean that there is only one person in the entire world who is allowed to feel pain and be sad about it. Your sufferings and hardships are as valid as anybody’s in the world. 

Life will stop being painful 

Though it might not seem possible or true right now, remember that when life feels too painful, it will stop being painful. There will be a day in the future maybe next week, month, or year, but there will be a day when you no longer carry the [pain with you.
