What is the book titled The Worry Website?
This kind of book is about a website where you can place your worries in whatever they may be. This kind of website was used by students to get themselves to reveal their worries in life.
This kind of plan was made by Mr Speed when sets up his super-cool new Worry Website. Holly, Greg, Natasha and the rest of the class think they’ve got shedloads of worries in this kind of book.
But, as they find out, sometimes the best advice comes from the most unexpected place in their lives. Lots of the kids in Mr Speed’s class have something to worry about in this kind of book.
From a new step mum to coping with Maths, everyone has their own private issues and it’s sometimes hard to discuss them even when you need advice at the time. So Mr Speed sets up this kind of website on the classroom computer.
Anybody in the class can anonymously enter their worry and anyone else can type in advice to help out in this kind of website. A unique production for Jacqueline Wilson, coming from a story originally published in electronic form on the Internet and also containing a brilliant story by a 12-year-old fan who entered a competition to write a companion story to the author of this book.
Like the book talk about different types of worries, people in reality too suffer from different types of worries, depending on their life circumstances. For example, someone who had a tooth extraction worries about ‘When can I stop worrying about dry socket?‘

The following are the characters of this book and their worries:
Holly (Worry 1)
Holly lives with her cute younger sister Hannah and her father in the Worry Website book. She thinks Hannah’s Reception class teacher who is Miss Morgan is going to be her stepmother as she has started dating her father in the book.
Holly wishes that her stepmother will be wicked in this book. She likes Miss Morgan but when she finds out that her father is dating with her, decides to loathe her in this book.
When they are dating, Holly spends more time with Miss Morgan but never gives the teacher a chance to get on with her in this book. She becomes foes with her teacher and then when they are going shopping together, the teacher says she is getting sick of her behaving horribly to her.
Then they both become friends in this book.
Greg (Worry 2)
Greg is a boy who generally hates girls in this book. He has dinky little Sarah and Jane for a sister, she gets away with things because she’s sneaky and younger in this book.
However, there is one person Greg would simply love to be his girlfriend and that person is Holly in this book. He sits right behind her and when he put his feet on her chair, she tied them up in the book.
The next day, he came with boots and with one swift karate chop, Holly hurts his poor tootsies in this book. On the final day, as Greg has nothing to wear, he comes in his bedroom slippers into school in this book.
They are all wet and he has to dry them by the radiator in this book. Greg makes a deal with Holly, that they can sit next to each other on the couch in this book.
When the day of the trip arrives, Mr Speed makes a huge mistake and suddenly puts Greg next to Samantha in this book. He says he doesn’t want to sit next to her in this book.
Consequently, Samantha is heartbroken and they never spoke to each other in this book. When they go to the museum, they all dress up in this book.
Holly as Greg’s maid and Greg as a boy in this book. She picks up the buttoner and prods him hard, then they become friends because he explains to her what happened in this book.
On the coach home, Greg sat next to Holly, Greg’s girlfriend in this book.
Claire (Worry 3)
Since she was a little girl, Claire has had nightmares after films so her mum has been very strict about what she watches in this book. After watching the notorious 18-rated film titled The Monster which is an extremely violent and gory film, she cannot get her mind off it when sleeping in this book.
Mr Speed gives her tips on how to get rid of her nightmares with her special skill, football, and the dream goes in this book. Claire then gets a dream about her and her teacher playing a game of football together in this book.
William (Worry 4)
William is very unintelligent in everything in this book. Mr Speed gives him a prize for losing a spelling contest in this book.
Later Mr Speed tells a story about an eating contest he once won when he was at school, called the Enormous Mouthful Contest, and then the children have their own contest, and William wins it in this book.
Samantha (Worry 5)
Samantha’s dad left her family and went off with his girlfriend in this book. She has been very sad since then in this book.
Also, Samantha feels unpopular in this book. Mr Speed suggests gardening which later attracts William to her and they garden very well in this book.
Lisa (Worry 6)
Lauren Roberts wrote this story in this book. Lisa’s dad is an alcoholic in this book.
He beats her mum up in this book. Lisa is very sad to have this in her life in this book.
This is the only story that does not have a resolution with Lisa deciding not to put her real worry down and say she is starting to get spots instead in this book. However, the final chapter which is Natasha’s worry partly continues her story as well in this book.
Natasha (Worry 7)
Natasha is disabled and uses a voice machine in this book. She wants to be in the concert in this book.
Natasha becomes friends with Lisa and they enter it with the worry song in this book.

Jacqueline Wilson was born in Bath in 1945 and spent her childhood in Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, where she still lives today writing more books. She started her writing career as a teenage journalist with D.C. Thompson, writing for the teenage magazine Jackie which was named after her at the time.
