A resignation letter with reason refers to the type of letter that indicates you are not happy with your job or there were certain situations in your workplace that made you decide to resign.
For instance, it could be due to a supervisor/boss or a superior that you did not have empathy or good communication or simply because you expected more from the job.
In addition, this letter could refer to personal reasons such as being ill or having a relative that is ill.
Also, it could be related to being dissatisfied with how things are being run at your workplace or certain changes they have made to your salary, bonus structure, among others.

I am writing this letter to resign from my position of {Your Position}. I sincerely regret the fact that I have to leave {Your Company}. I regretfully inform you that I will be resigning from the position of {Your position} from {Your Company}. Although working with {Your Company} has been a pleasure, due to certain unavoidable personal reasons my presence is required elsewhere. I apologize for this decision to be abrupt and do hope that my leaving will not cause you or {Your Company} any inconvenience.
I have enjoyed being part of {Your Company} and my tenure has been very rewarding. I appreciate the experiences and opportunities that I have embarked upon here. Thank you for allowing me to execute the complete digital marketing strategy for APAC region. I will do all I can to ensure that my leaving is as smooth a transition, as possible. I have explained my team members the mapping of Digital Channels and essential metrics. Please let me know if I can assist in anything specific. I hope to stay in touch. Had it not been this sudden, inevitable personal reason, I would have never preferred to leave.
Wishing you and the company nothing but the best.

Dear Mr./Ms. Last Name:
The purpose of this letter is to announce my resignation from Company Name, effective two weeks from this date.
This was not an easy decision to make, on my part. The past 10 years have been very rewarding. I’ve enjoyed working for you, observing how our production operations have expanded, and managing a very successful team dedicated to a quality manufactured product delivered on time.
I have accepted a position as VP, Manufacturing for Land Lubber Industries in Watertown, West Virginia. This opportunity gives me the chance to grow professionally and will allow us to relocate just a few miles from our families.
I wish you and the company all the best. I do hope our paths cross again in the future.
Sincerely,
