Sample resignation letter nurse practitioner

A resignation letter for a nurse practitioner, staff nurse, nurse educator, registered nurse, nursing assistant, or any other related medical job role.

If you are considering leaving your job because you have found a better job opportunity or due to personal reasons, it is important to leave through the big door.

This increases your chances to get a very good recommendation letter for future employers.

If you are wondering what your resignation letter should include, just remember it should state your intention to leave your position, without making any negative comments or criticizing the company or people you worked with, even if your experience was not positive.

Focus on the positive aspects of the jobs or any highlights and thank your employer for the opportunity.

In addition, don’t forget to consider checking your contract in search of the notice period (i.e. two weeks’ notice) and your last day of employment.

Also, if you are willing and available, consider offering your assistance in the transition period.
