Sample resignation letter maintenance (7)

In this guide, we will see some Sample resignation letters if you work in maintenance or other related job roles.

Also, we will see what a resignation letter should include and what to avoid.

Sample resignation letter maintenance

A sample resignation letter if you have a job related to maintenance such as an electrician, engineer, maintenance technician, or mechanic.

However, you may have decided to leave your current employment either because of a new job offer, personal reasons, family reasons or any other reason, it is important to submit a formal resignation letter that helps you quit leaving a professional impression especially if you would like to get a reference letter in the future.

When you write a resignation letter don’t forget to include:

  • The fact that you are leaving the company and when your last day of employment will be.
  • A “thank you” statement, thanking your employer for the opportunity.
  • Include the date you are writing the letter on.
  • Provide sufficient notice to your employer. Consider giving them at least 2 weeks’ notice before your departure. But prepare yourself just in case they decide to do an early release or accept your letter with immediate effect.

Also, it is important to avoid any negative comments or criticism towards your employer, colleagues, or boss, this is not the appropriate way to complain.

Before letting your colleagues know you are leaving, consider talking to your boss first before handing in your resignation.
