A sample resignation letter for a security guard job position can be very useful if you have decided to let your general manager know formally and officially, your intention to resign.

It could be due to personal matters, an emergency situation that requires your attention at this time, you have a low salary and you are struggling financially, or you found another job opportunity. 

The basic format includes considering:

• Stating your intention to leave the company and when (specific date).
• Consider your company’s notice period (i.e. 1-month notice).
• You can choose to include the reason why you are resigning, it is optional.
• You can include some highlights of the job and the time you spend with the company.
• Thank your employer for the opportunity.
• Close and sign your letter.
