Sample resignation letter effective date (6)

In this guide, we will see some sample resignation letters with an effective date and some letter templates.

Sample resignation letter effective date

A sample resignation letter with an effective date basically means that you are writing a resignation letter with the effective date when your resignation should take effect, the date you are leaving the company.

Most employers usually expect their employers to include a 2 weeks notice period so they can find a suitable replacement, by delivering a formal resignation letter.

However, it is recommended to get in contact with your manager if you need to quit your job if there are emergency or difficult circumstances to attend and you can’t give a 2 weeks’ notice.

This is also referred to as an immediate resignation letter and it can have an immediate effect.
