A resignation letter for career growth is very common.

[Date]

Dear [Name of recipient],

I am writing this resignation letter to inform you of my decision to leave this company as of [Date]. I have enjoyed the time that I have worked with this firm. There is no privilege that I have been denied.

However, a time has come that I feel that the best step to take is to resign.

I have been aspiring to grow in my career. However, I feel I have worked at my full capacity and abilities at this company. I am not facing competition, and so I plan to join a more competitive setting. Before I leave, however, I am working on training a temporary replacement so that we can have a smooth transition. I hope that you will have a better replacement for my position.

Kindly feel free to contact me even after I shall have left if there be a need. I value the season that I have been here and wish that we keep a working relationship. I wish you well as I leave.

Thank you

Sincerely,

In this scenario of a resignation letter for career growth, it has been expressed the need for career growth previously but without any changes. However, it is also expressing all the positive experiences and thanking for the opportunity.

[Date]

Dear [Name of recipient],

Please consider this my resignation letter from my position as [job position] at [Name of company], effective [Date].

The past [x amount of time] at this company have been incredible. I have enjoyed working here and feel that I am leaving with a great deal of experience. However, I have expressed my interest to move up the ladder many times over the years, and I see that this position does not have as much room for growth as I had originally anticipated. I feel that I need to move on and seek a position that allows for more responsibility and professional career growth.

Being [role name/job position] has been very enjoyable over the last few years, but sadly I must move on in order to do what is best for me and my career. I hope to stay in touch and I want to thank you again for the time we shared together. I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

Dear [Name of recipient],

On this day I am writing to you to give my formal resignation from my role as [name of the role/job position] for [Name of company]. My last day of work will be [date].

Even though it is not an easy decision, I have decided to pursue a career in a different field I yearn to explore. I am grateful for the experience and growth that the company offered me from the beginning and during my [x amount of time] employment. This experience will guide me as I move forward with my new career path. I will fondly remember my time in this company.

Upon my departure, I will return the devices the company has provided me, including the cell phone and laptop. Before I leave, there will be a full report about my activities within the last period.

Please let me know how I can be of help during this transition. If necessary, I would be happy to assist in training my replacement.

Best wishes,
