Palouse mindfulness (A guide)

In this brief blog, we will cover the Palouse mindfulness course and how it may be able to help you find your inner self and go further in your wellbeing journey.

What is Palouse mindfulness?

Palouse mindfulness is an online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course about mindfulness and meditating.

The mindfulness course is provided by David Potter who is a fully licensed  MSBR instructor.

The Palouse mindfulness Online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course is for people who aren’t able to take a mindfulness course in person due to the cost or the logistical reasons involved in doing so.

The online mindfulness-based stress reduction course is free but you can choose to make a donation to enable the Palouse mindfulness website to continue operating and keep the course free to everyone.

Is the Palouse mindfulness course actually free?

When most people here free they often thin that something is free up to a point and then you will get charged sometime in the future.

With the Palouse mindfulness Online Stress Reduction course it is actually free, not free for the first 14 days but free forever.

Whos is David Potter and why should you take his Palouse mindfulness course?

David Potter is a fully certified Mindfulness-based stress reduction instructor who got his certification from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

David has lived and taught live mindfulness-based stress reduction classes for over 12 years in Palouse, hence the name of the course being named Palouse mindfulness.

So during this time he has honed his skills, learnt more about mindfulness and put this great course together.

David Potter is also a retired professional psychotherapist who has had a daily meditation practice for over 25 years.

He started his mindfulness-based stress reduction classes in 2004 and slowly started putting elements of his classes online until he built up this beautiful mindfulness course for everyone to use for free.

The Palouse mindfulness course is aimed mostly at people who are not able to attend in person mindfulness courses due to their busy schedules or the cost involved.

In some cases, some people will live in regions where there are no mindfulness instructors nearby to teach these sort of classes.

The Palouse mindfulness curse is a great resource as anyone in the world can use this course to improve their mental wellbeing and mindfulness.

Is taking an online mindfulness course effective?

An in-person mindfulness course is likely still the best route but due to the logistics involved or the lack of availability, course or the costs involved, this isn’t always possible for people to do and hence this mindfulness course bridges a gap by allowing anyone from anywhere in the world to use the online mindfulness course.

The benefits gained from doing an online mindfulness course are the same and not significantly limited to doing an in-person mindfulness course.

The main difference with an online mindfulness course such as the Palouse mindfulness course is simply if the participants will finish the course due to the fact that it is an online course and they will have little or no interactions with other people during the course.

This lack of interaction may affect motivation and affect their ability to finish the course.

The group support in an in-person mindfulness course can, therefore, be seen as a huge factor when looking at reasons why people will complete a mindfulness course.

The Palouse mindfulness course is 8 weeks long and this really requires extra motivation when done in solitude without any group support.

You can find group support through the Palouse mindfulness online community.

The structure of the A live in-person Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class is exactly the same as the online Palouse mindfulness course. The only difference being that it is done online.

Can you get help during the online mindfulness course?

The simple answer is yes. As stated above there is an online community which can offer you help for the mindfulness course.

This community can encourage you to finish the course, offer you help and advice whenever you get lost or confused and you may even find someone to partner up with you and complete the online mindfulness course together.
