It is the responsibility of the curators that the purchase, sale and exchange, even the collections of different things are also included in this domain.

They are also involved in the research so that authentic information can be pursued.

They remain involved in any research until the end so that they can evaluate and categorize the items or results in a proper way.

They are also involved in the administrative tasks and manage the institute as a whole so that they manage the projects of research as well as the educational programs.

They are also authorized to represent their institute achievements and results of research or any performance to share in the media.

INFP archetypes when performing as curators they increase the educational programs and attend professional conferences with the institute administrative tasks.

When they are working in large institutes they get specialization in particular or specific fields such as biology, botany, human art, and history.


INFP archetypes in a large national museum might employ separate guardians for its collections of birds, fish, and mammals.

The building responsibility also comes under their domains.

They are reliable to document their findings and treat items in order to minimize deterioration or restore them to their original state.

They have the specialization to maintain and conduct all the things. They are responsible for the documents, related to all books, any paintings, or textile material associated with the relevant thing.

INFP archetype works in a collaborative manner and innovative manners such as by saving the x-rays, chemical testing, microscopes, special lights, and other laboratory equipment and techniques to examine objects, determine their condition, and decide on the best way to preserve them.

They do all these things due to their creative ability in a creative manner which saves in a long term manner.

They also may participate in outreach programs, research topics in their specialty, and write articles for scholarly journals for the recognition of their domain.

Work Schedules of INFP archetypes

The working hours for the archetypes are the same either they are working in the different types or the main type of task. They work full time.

They do work on a regular basis and perform their duties all every days either they are involved with the government institutes, cooperation or any private firm.

When they are working in the big or large institutes or International level they need to work more extensively, as their work is evaluated on a daily basis with the potential additions to conduct the research.

The task is evaluated by the collection, organization, and on the basis of research.

Their travel capacity is rare when they are working in small institutes.

They work with different staff and dynamic environments such as Museum technicians.

Often to perform better they are working on the day and night shifts consecutively.

When there is an event organized then it is necessary to work with the different shifts as their institutes remain open with the public during those times.

Personality and Interests with INFP archetypes

The INFP archetypes usually have the nature to think, persuade, and organize different areas so this suits their personality.

The thinking interests indicated that they need to focus on the research and investigate the phenomena by increasing and understanding the natural laws.

Their interest in the specific domain helps to focus on the different areas and specifically indicates the work capacity with the information and processes to keep things arranged in an orderly system.

There are different qualities that they possess and develop or polish according to the work in the mentioned environment.

1.      Analytical skills. INFP archetypes need to develop excellent analytical skills to regulate the origin, history, and importance of many of the objects they work with an organization.

2.      Computer skills. INFP archetypes must have good computer skills because they use and develop complex databases related to the materials they store and access. 

3.      Customer-service skills. Archivists, curators, and registrars work with the general public on a regular basis. They must be courteous and friendly and be able to help users find materials.

4.      Organizational skills. INFP archetypes must be able to store and easily recover records and documents. They also must develop logical systems of storage for the public to use.

5.      Technical skills. It is important to understand that historical objects need to be examined and preserved.

Conservators must use the appropriate chemicals and techniques to preserve the different objects they deal with.
