This will answer if you are real or not. Some people would keep wondering what their purpose in life is which is part of the human condition that most of us are part of. 

Most people would start questioning their role in existence once they start exploring in the adolescence stage where they seek their identities. Sometimes, people might engage in some form of disorientation where they have a moment to think about their existential purpose and how experiences are not connected to reach a single purpose in existence. 

People tend to experience this kind of disorientation where they feel like they are living in a life that isn’t theirs. This can occur when the person has no clear sign of his or her identity yet.

Some people would describe this as an out-of-body experience where they feel like they don’t belong in their supposed body. However, they keep engaging in existential crisis which only brings more worry and panic in their lives.


Dr. David Carbonell explained this phenomenon experienced by young people as dissociation where the person is more concentrated on his or her thoughts than his or her present surroundings. Despite the fact that the person is only thinking about himself or herself, the thoughts are concentrated on people, places or objects that come to mind

You need to know that you don’t need to be alone when you are facing this crisis. You can ask friends to help each other in this time or you can get some advice from your school counsellor who might be worried about your wellbeing while you are trying to find yourself.



The truth is we are never sure why we are here. We can only follow the things that we love to do the most to help us get through life.

If you are not thinking about your purpose in life, you might not be real.
